	News 08-08-2008 07:00 p.m.(date of publication): -------------------- News Update The Delta Lloyd Cadet World Championships 2008 delivered a new World Champion! Reigning Belgian national champion BEL 8518 Quinten Lauwers and Nele de Munck (pictured at right; photo by Ronald Koelink) are the new Cadet World Champions! Although handicapped by a bad knee — Quinten had to sail the Worlds with a leg brace! — he and his crew Nele proved to be no match for the competition. 5 second places and 2 first places left them 7 points ahead of the second spot held by Joanna Freeman and Holly Francis from Great Britain. We have been told Quiten is moving on to the 470 class. Hopefully Nele will stay in the Cadet for some more years. We wish them all the best in the future!
